Dr. Daniel M. Pittman III is a board-certified periodontist dedicated to providing expert, compassionate care in periodontics and implant dentistry with a patient-first philosophy. Dr. Pittman specializes in a wide range of advanced procedures, including dental implants, All-on-4 full-arch restorations, bone and gum grafting and sedation dentistry-helping patients regain both oral health and confidence in their smiles. Dr. Pittman is known for his friendly, down-to-earth approach and his commitment to personalized care. He takes time to understand each patient's needs, offering clear communication and tailored treatment plans in a comfortable, supportive environment.

A native of Enterprise, Alabama, Dr. Pittman earned his Bachelor of Science from Samford University and his Doctor of Dental Medicine from the UAB School of Dentistry. He continued his training at UAB by completing a residency in Periodontics, as well as a residency at the V.A. Periodontology - a distinction that reflects his commitment to the highest standards in periodontal care.

Dr. Pittman is a lifelong learner who stays at the forefront of periodontal are. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the American Academy of Periodontology, the Academy of Ossiointegration, and the Spear Study Club. This allows him the opportunity to incorporate state-of-the-art technologies and evidence-based protocols into his practice to ensure patients receive the highest standard of care. Dr. Pittman was an adjunct professor at the UAB School of Dentistry for 16 years. In 2014, he received the Outstanding Young Alumnus Awards from the UAB School of Dentistry.

Dr. Pittman currently lives in Dothan with his wife and three children. In his free time he loves to travel, train for marathons and cheer his children on in all their endeavors. His approachable demeanor, commitment to excellence and genuine care for others have made him a trusted provider in his community.
